01 - Bop

Description

Bop is the first character to be recruited for SCCG. He is a young adult shruffle, reigning from the Bopulous branch of the species, he is tan with a red cap sporting white spots. With 5 hearts and a supportive healing centric playstyle, He is able to use various kinds of spores to heal or to hurt, these spores (when used for healing) soothe wounds and accelerate natural healing processes, making Bop a great addition to any team.

Lore

Working as farmer with the rest of his family. The exception being his father, Lyon. Lyon was a great adventurer finding all sorts of treasures to bring back to his family, sometimes disappearing for days or even weeks. Though he would always come back, one day he didn't.

This deeply affected Bop, his father's disappearance inspired him to take his passion for adventure more seriously, setting out to find him. One of his cousins; Joan, secretly accompanied him. Bop searched far and wide and found no trace of Lyon, Joan also checking everything that he and she too found nothing.

Later in Bop's journey he heard a cry, rushing over to it he found his cousin Joan at the bottom of a short drop, hopping down to her he quickly began to panic, asking her why she followed him, his panic causing him to release soothing spores which began to heal Joan making her injuries much less severe, Bop was confused as to how something like his spores could heal seemingly severe damage.

Bop helped Joan up back onto her feet, and the two made the trip back home while discussing Bop's new ability. When they got home Bop told everyone that he couldn't find anything. Feeling defeated he walked into his hut to rest.

The next morning he awoke to the sound of his mother; Bartholomew knocking on his door. She told him a weird tall man had come to see him.. The weird tall man in question kneeled down to poke his head through Bop's door, the two locking eyes before the man squinted and introduced himself as Eric. He explained that Bop's potential was noticed by the Board Of Shadowy Figures (BOSF) for his fascinating healing powers and that he was selected to compete in a contest organized the the BOSF and ordained by the gods of the universe he inhabited.

Bop stared at him, clearly unswayed until, Eric told Bop about the contest's *grand prize*. A wish for anything the winner wanted. Bop immediately perked up at this, a wish? maybe he could use it to bring his father back! Bop quickly agreed and officially joined SCCG.
