12 - Sguh

Description

Sguh is the 12th recruit of SCCG. She is very tanky, bearing 9 hearts, with a high damage kit. Sguh is a knight, bearing armor protecting every inch of her body. Her chestplate bears a cross, the emblem of the royal guard she used to fight for. Her helmet is scarred with melted steel from the day she left Kingdom Dragonheart, it also bears 2 red feathers. On her waist, she dons a belt with two places to sheath her sword for convenience. Beneath the armor, is a serene shadow, resembling flames, with piercing red eyes. Her face shape mimicks that of an old friend, and she makes sure to look in the mirror 3 times a day as to not forget how he looks.

Lore

Sguh had always wanted to be a knight, so when she joined the royal guard as her first position she was, reasonably, ecstatic. The first couple months went smoothly, but once the great famine of Kingdom Dragonheart began, things began to go south. The guard had begun rationing, and even exiling prisoners and peasants to the wilderness to perserve rations.

Sguh would use her gold gained from her duties to buy food for alot of people, especially her childhood friend, Hafni, who lived in poverty due to his lack of connections. One day, Hafni was caught stealing food, and was immediately exiled, this is the day Sguh decided to leave the kingdom.

That night, she gathered her precious belongings, said her goodbyes to her few friends, and set her own house on fire before fleeing the house. To remind herself of what she did, she made sure her helmet was damaged by the fire, she didn't want to let the evil of power get to her head.

She dedicated the rest of her time on Aria to find Hafni, and be the goodhearted knight she had wanted to be from her youth. After heroically saving Cals village from assimilation into Kingdom Dragonheart, she was recruited by Eric for her purity of heart and prowess in battle, as she singlehandedly took down an army of 60 trained knights.
